Calling this number connected me with TracFone's corporate office. I was greeted with a short recorded menu that asked me to either enter the extension of the person or group I was trying to reach or stay on the line to speak with the company's operator. 

If you call this number after hours, you'll be advised to call back between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., although a time zone wasn't specified. The recording does, however, give me the option to enter an extension if there's someone specific I was looking to contact. I was also advised that I could call a different number if I had a customer service inquiry. The customer service line is open much later than the corporate line.

You might also call this number if you're seeking to become an authorized retailer of TracFone products. This is not the number to call to get customer care or assistance with a technical issue. However, if you've been in touch with TracFone's staff and managers and are unhappy with their resolution of an issue, you can get in touch with the consumer relations department here. 

When I called, I had some questions about TracFone's products and how to become a customer. I got an answer right away. The operator was friendly but said they had to transfer me to a different department. After I was transferred, I waited for a little under 10 minutes for the person in the next department to answer my call. 

I wasn't notified of any way to leave a message for an agent or get back in touch if my call was disconnected. I also was not presented with an option to request a callback so that I didn't have to wait on the phone. 

I asked the representative a few questions about the company's products and where I could buy them. The agent I spoke to was knowledgeable about the types of available pre-paid plans and let me know more about the no-contract policy. The agent I spoke to was easy to understand and was able to clearly explain the networks that support TracFone services. They were also well-informed of the types of promotions available. Ultimately, I got all of my questions answered in about 15 minutes on the phone, and the service I received was helpful and answered all my questions.
