At moderate speeds or when the boat is on step, the transducer may not be in the optimal position to read the bottom. Ensure that the transducer is installed correctly and at the proper angle. Additionally, adjust your speed or try to angle your boat differently to maintain better contact with the bottom. If issues persist, we recommend reviewing your unit's settings for fish-finding modes or making sure firmware is up to date.

To set master and slave on Lowrance HDS units, go to the Network Settings menu. Select "Data Sources," then choose the device you want to set as master. Mark it as "Preferred Device."
