About 6 days ago, I flew from Detroit to Atlanta to meet up with my family at Jekyll Island. The flight was great, and I enjoyed the excellent customer service from the flight attendants. However, when I landed, my checked luggage was nowhere to be found, which was the start of my problems. We were hopeful that it would show up and waited almost an hour, but we got word the plane was completely emptied and still no bag. They helped me file a claim at the desk, and I had no choice but to buy a few basics because I had no luggage.
I was in Georgia for about 5 days and still no word about my baggage, so I flew home without it. However, I was getting impatient and worried, so I decided to call the number they provided me with. To be honest, I wasn't sure how long it would take for me to talk to someone. JetBlue is a large flight company, and with so many flights, delays, cancellations and potentially other lost luggage, they could have very busy phone lines. I didn't, so I stayed on the line and was transferred to a hold line. I listened to some music while on hold for about 30 seconds, and a crew agent picked up. My only complaint is that the crew agent had a very thick accent, and I struggled to understand him. However, it was clear regardless by the end of the call that no one knew where my bag was still.
