A friend in a public assisted living facility needed their birth certificate sent to my home. VitalChek processed the document, which was then sent from the Miami-Dade (FL) County office via UPS. I missed the delivery, and my brother-in-law, not recognizing the name, rejected it. Despite numerous phone calls within an hour, UPS returned the certificate to the sender. I contacted VitalChek on June 3rd after waiting on hold for hours, and they assured me it would be re-sent. However, it's been a week, and when I checked online with VitalChek, the record shows that the birth certificate was processed, sent, rejected, and returned to the sender by UPS.

I submitted the required documents via fax, but was informed that the request was being cancelled due to the missing notarized copy of my signature. In order to proceed, I resubmitted the necessary documents. However, despite sending them multiple times, I have not received any updates from the company regarding my order. My order number is [redacted]32. It has been frustrating not knowing the status since 6/09/[redacted]. I urgently need information on the request for my son's certified copy of the birth certificate. I submitted an application for a death certificate for my sister, Meagan Mary Butler, and paid the fee with my credit card for next-day delivery via UPS. I had a notary public sign on the same day as my signature. After completing everything online, I realized I hadn't received the certificate due to a payment issue. My name is Maeve Veronica Butler. I would appreciate it if someone could please contact me at [redacted] to help me understand and resolve this matter. Alternatively, you can email me at [redacted] Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, my name is Maritza Rodriguez. I am currently attempting to obtain my birth certificate from Puerto Rico, but I am facing a challenge due to my expired identification. Despite my father's effort to order it for me, we have encountered an obstacle as the system indicates that he cannot request a birth certificate for someone over 18 years old. I have attempted to contact the Puerto Rico birth certificate records but have been unsuccessful in reaching anyone. I find myself in a difficult situation as I cannot renew my ID without the birth certificate and vice versa. I am in need of guidance on alternative options available to me, as I am unable to proceed further. Previously, my father successfully ordered a birth certificate for me through your company, and I am puzzled by the current restrictions. If there are any steps I may have missed, please advise. My contact number is [redacted]. Thank you.

On May 21, [redacted], I contacted VitalChek as advised by the Wayne County, Detroit, Michigan Records Office to obtain a certified copy of my marriage certificate for Social Security purposes following my husband's passing. Despite being informed it would take 35 to 45 days and paying $56.70 for FEDEX Air delivery, it has been 52 business days since placing the order. After contacting them in June, I was advised to follow up by the end of July. My email on July 30 received a quick response indicating they are looking into the matter. Today, on August 2, [redacted], when I called for an update, I was directed to their website for order status. There has been no further communication since my email. Researching VitalChek online has revealed numerous negative reviews. The option for regular mail from the county office was discouraged, citing similar delivery times but less security than FEDEX Air. Without my late husband's Social Security, I am under significant stress and eagerly awaiting resolution. Sharon K.

Order #: [redacted]47 Pin: [redacted] I previously ordered a long-form birth certificate from NY (town of Amityville) for delivery abroad. I currently live in France and am trying to get married here, but I need the long-form birth certificate apostilled to be sent for translation. I was charged $8, but despite trying to contact them since the end of March through calls and emails, I haven't been able to get anyone to help me process this. I've submitted all required documents but can't find a way online to handle additional costs and confirmations. Is there anyone who can assist me with this? I'm considering booking a flight to NY to handle everything in person at the local state offices, as I risk missing my wedding if this isn't resolved soon.

I applied for my birth certificate through Los Angeles County for renewing my French visa and was directed to VitalChek. Despite being a senior with health issues and unable to travel to the US for notarization, VitalChek insisted on it. After seeking guidance from the US Embassy in France, I was advised to have my French application notarized with the Hague Convention Apostille, which VitalChek refused. The US Ambassador to France, Mr. Jeffrey Erring, Jr., even wrote to VitalChek to explain the international legality of the Apostille, but they did not respond. This delay caused me to overstay my visa, incurring financial losses and legal complications. I eventually received my birth certificate through the California Dept. of Public Health after a prolonged process. Despite VC's claim of being a reliable resource, their poor customer service and failure to comply with international law have caused me significant financial and emotional distress. I aim to seek a refund from VitalChek for their mishandling of my application.

Hello, I need to process my birth certificate in Miami, Florida, as well as my mother's death certificate, who passed away there. I currently live in Argentina, and these documents need to be apostilled for legal validity here. Would it be possible to pay for these documents to be requested from the Florida State through your services and then have them sent to the company that handles document apostille? The address is: Legatille - Apostille Office [redacted] E. Virginia Street Suite 1 Tallahassee, Florida [redacted] I haven't requested the documents online yet because I want to make sure they are sent to that address in Florida. I could ask you to send them to my address, but without the apostille, these certificates are not valid here. Thank you very much John B. Mendoza

Hello, I began an application to obtain my marriage certificate from El Dorado County, CA. They requested a notarized form, which I have completed. However, I struggled to upload it successfully. After multiple failed login attempts, I have been locked out of my account and provided a non-responsive phone number for assistance. I am unsure how to proceed with this issue. Sincerely, G.W.

I recently came back home from overseas with the military. I am looking to trace my mother and her family members, but I only have limited information such as their full names and birth years without specific dates. I hold my parents' World War II marriage certificate and details about my maternal grandparents, siblings, and other relatives. Is there an address where I can send these documents for a thorough investigation to locate them? How does the process work when you have minimal details to start with?

I submitted an application for a Death Certificate for my two sisters-in-law through VitalChek. One from Aiken, South Carolina has been approved, and I am waiting for delivery. The other application was sent to your office with the same documents as before, as I was informed that information cannot be taken over the phone for NY State Death Certificates. The deceased is Virginia J Horton, who passed away on Feb 24, [redacted], in Rochester, Monroe County, New York. As their brother-in-law, I am requesting these Certificates for verification, as they were named in my spouse's trust as trustees. I must demonstrate their passing to refinance my house. Please confirm the receipt of my application and accompanying documents. Thank you, Armando Ali. The application was sent to your main office address.

I need to order a certified birth certificate from Solano County, CA. Unfortunately, the drop-down list for California counties does not include Solano. The closest option is Solana Beach. The link on the Solano County Vital Records website directs me to https:**www.solanocounty.com*depts*ar*recorder*vital*records*section*birth*death*n*marriage*records.asp. Despite VitalChek being suggested to order online, it does not list the county vital records office that issues the birth certificates. I wanted a convenient and cost-effective way to obtain my birth certificate online. I initially tried to request it by mail, but the delay caused issues with the processing time. The situation has become frustrating, and I hope to see it resolved promptly.

I, Santa S., am in possession of my MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE, Social Security Cards, and a Valid (Temporary) Driver’s License to verify my Maiden name as RIVERA. My Massachusetts driver's license has recently expired. Despite multiple attempts on Vitalchek.com, they have repeatedly rejected my Puerto Rican Birth Certificate verification, even after submitting various personal documents. Vitalchek claims I changed my name without recognizing it was due to a legal MARRIAGE. I have provided my Authentic Marriage Certificate showing (MAIDEN NAME): RIVERA and MARRIAGE NAME: SUAREZ. I am urgently in need of my Birth Certificate and would greatly appreciate assistance. Thank you, Please contact me via email at [redacted]

Hello, my name is Morgan Annawyn Rose. I am a disabled senior living on a pension and a US citizen. I have encountered issues with VitalChek regarding my birth certificate application for my French visa renewal. Despite the Hague Convention International Agreement, VitalChek did not honor the requirement for an Apostille on my birth certificate, causing me financial loss and legal status issues in France. The lack of timely responses and refusal to comply with international laws has resulted in significant hardships for me as a senior citizen. I have taken necessary steps, including involving the US Embassy and the California Department of Public Health, to obtain my birth certificate. VitalChek's failure to adhere to international standards has led to financial expenses, legal complexities, and emotional distress. I seek resolution and reimbursement for the damages caused by VitalChek's negligence. Thank you for your consideration.
