My account has been on hold for a whole month. I recently started a part-time job with care.com, but due to Covid-19, there are no local gigs available, and the ones that are open are over an hour away, which I can't reach without a driver's license. I haven't had any work for 3 weeks and no income from anywhere. I'm facing eviction from my apartment with no support from unemployment. I'm unsure why my claim is on hold and struggling to speak with a real person. Receiving just $[redacted] from unemployment would provide me with basic necessities. I've been unable to afford food as my weekly balance is $0. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have received a notice from MASS Unemployment Insurance stating that I failed to provide proper identification, affecting my claim. This has led to pending overpayments for all payments received from MASS UI in the past year. There is also an issue with duplicate claims for a part-time job at Kappy's Fine Wine and Spirits, which is formally known as Everett Management Corp. I had one week left to claim $90 in Unemployment Insurance, scheduled for February 14th, [redacted], but the pending overpayment status has reset my available weeks to 26, totaling $16,[redacted]. I do not wish to claim another week to avoid a true overpayment. However, I am concerned that if I do not claim the remaining $90 week, I may lose the opportunity as I need to claim weeks consistently to avoid reopening my claim. I am willing to provide any necessary identification promptly and clarify that the part-time income was reported correctly under Kappy's Fine Wine and Spirits. I seek a resolution soon to return my available weeks to 1 with $90 remaining for my final claim. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. Thank you, Robert J. Dunn.

I have been attempting to contact a representative at the unemployment office since the end of June when I first filed my claim. I provided my pre-layoff earnings, which took 4 months to verify. Subsequently, the office claimed I did not submit my identification, despite my multiple attempts to do so. Eventually, I received my initial payment on January 28th for a single week. Despite daily efforts, I have been unable to reach anyone for assistance with filing for previous weeks leading up to that payment. On February 23rd, I received a notification by mail demanding a return of the funds due to the lack of identification, which had been submitted. I am desperate for assistance to resolve these ongoing issues and receive the support I am entitled to. The situation has become increasingly distressing as time passes without payment. Please contact me via email and I can provide my phone number for further communication. Thank you, Aaron C.

I have been waiting for 11 weeks after filing for unemployment benefits. Despite claiming only 7 weeks and my attempts to expedite my claim by contacting them multiple times, I have not received any help. I have been advised by different representatives to claim an 8th week, which I know is illegal. Unemployment has asked me twice to verify my ID, repeatedly fill out surveys about my previous job, and sent a questionnaire to my former employer multiple times. I have expressed my financial struggles, but all I hear is to apply for an 8th week or wait. Last week, I was informed my claim was inactive due to three weeks without a claim since I found employment. Reactivating my account has pushed me to the bottom of the adjuster's list. It's frustrating that I can't speak to a supervisor, and the customer service agents are unable to offer any real assistance. I have called twice a week for 11 weeks, but all they do is add notes to my file.

Today, I had to file for a new benefit year as my original one ended on 3/13/21. While completing the application, I believe I misunderstood one of the questions. Currently on furlough from my travel agency job, I worked from 1/1/20 to 3/20/20 and then from 5/4/20 to 6/12/20, after which I have been unemployed. Accidentally, I only included my wages from 5/4/20-6/12/20 and hit submit prematurely. Despite being on PEUC, I was prompted by UI Online to open a new claim for 3/14/21 to 3/12/22, so I did. Wondering if there's an email address to send a correction or should I call them tomorrow. Managed to certify for this past week. Many people are facing benefit year endings due to pandemic-related job losses.

My son was initially approved for unemployment after being terminated, but then the approval was revoked suddenly. After a hearing, he was only approved for 4 weeks during the pandemic, which doesn't make sense because it was impossible for him to find a job within that time frame due to the circumstances. Upon following advice and applying for pandemic unemployment, the payments were denied and our appeal was also rejected. As a result, my son now owes money as he was paid for more than the initial 4 weeks. It is frustrating that he is being deprived of unemployment benefits while others have been receiving it for over a year. The situation has caused financial strain as bills have piled up. We are seeking assistance to resolve this matter promptly.

Azemina R. 28 Miller Street #5 Quincy, MA [redacted] Tel: [redacted] Email: [redacted] Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to address the issue I have encountered in receiving my unemployment benefits. Despite following all the necessary steps diligently and in a timely manner after the expiration of my contract on 04/20/[redacted], I have faced continuous disqualification notices when trying to reopen my claim. To provide a brief timeline: - Filed for unemployment on 12/05/[redacted], received benefits, and actively job searched. - Promptly participated in the RESEA program on 01/12/[redacted] as directed, explaining my job situation to Linda and filling out required forms. - Although I secured a job on Jan 06, [redacted], I complied with the program requirements to mitigate issues with future benefits. - Despite resubmitting paperwork at the local office, my efforts seem to have been overlooked, leading to a subsequent disqualification notice on 01/30/[redacted]. I have made multiple attempts to address this matter by contacting DUA, visiting the local office, and participating in career seminars, but to no avail. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue promptly. I believe I am rightfully entitled to the unemployment benefits and seek a fair review of my case. Thank you for your attention and support. Sincerely, Azemina R.

I am currently waiting to hear about my eligibility status, as I urgently need the financial assistance to afford housing and food. Despite numerous attempts to contact the office, including long waits on hold, I have not received the needed information. I submitted my application on 8/22 and have been patiently waiting for a response. Back in [redacted], when my name was Amy Hansen, I had briefly received unemployment benefits. While using the UI Online system, I encountered an issue where I couldn't update my last name, although my SS number was recognized, and my financial details were assessed. I am puzzled by the message saying "Ineligible but not denied" on 8/28/23, followed by "determination not available." I firmly believe I am eligible for assistance and seek clarification on this matter. Thank you for your support. Best regards, Amy S. [redacted]
