I recently discovered unauthorized transactions made on my card, which I found today after thinking it was lost months ago. Surprisingly, attempts were made to use it in December and January while it was supposedly missing. I initially believed it was lost and got a new one. I recently received a refund check from the corporate office, but when I went to cash it today, it was declined. I had been waiting for years to receive this money. The check was issued through Green Dot by the resolution team, but it keeps getting denied. I have been trying to speak with someone in charge who knows what they are doing, but have not had much luck. There have been many representatives, and the only one who was able to help was Phillip, a supervisor. Unfortunately, I have been unable to contact him or anyone else for assistance. It seems like there are people working from home, which is frustrating. I received a check that turned out to be no good.

I had my taxes and last stimulus payment direct deposited to my account with Go2Bank. Unfortunately, I lost my card, so I paid for expedited shipping three times to get a new card. Despite numerous attempts, I never received the new debit card. I finally closed the account and awaited a check, which arrived two years later on January 28th, clearly indicating it could be cashed at Walmart with possible fees. When I tried, it was declined twice causing an embarrassing delay at the store. Even after calling the number on the Walmart receipt, I was informed the issue was with the company that issued the check. I tried multiple locations to cash the check, including different Walmarts and a bank associated with Green Dot, but faced obstacles at every turn. The frustrating experience with Go2Bank and Green Dot has been ongoing and challenging since the beginning.

I used TurboTax to file my [redacted] taxes in June [redacted], and Green Dot was the 3rd party for the payment. After my tax return didn't arrive, TurboTax advised me to contact the IRS. I learned the money had been sent to Green Dot and even got the account number. Unfortunately, all my attempts to reach Green Dot failed due to automated services not recognizing non-cardholders like myself. How can I speak to a live person to resolve this and receive my tax refund? I have the account number but can't get past the automated system without a card number.

I purchased a Walmart gift card/Visa issued by Green Dot Bank for my parents. One card worked, the other didn't. Despite being told the value on both was $50 each, the malfunctioning card was returned to me. Attempting to resolve this at Walmart in Hayden, ID was unsuccessful. Contacting the card's support number at [redacted] was also fruitless as I couldn't reach a representative; the automated service deemed the card invalid. I am struggling to secure a refund for the faulty $50 card, a significant sum for my elderly parents on a fixed income. I urgently need a resolution for the defective card to ensure my parents receive the intended gift. Given that the card is from Green Dot Bank, I believe they should address this issue promptly.

Hello, my name is Jamie. Recently, I received a letter from the IRS informing me that my stimulus check was loaded onto a Green Dot card on December 31, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I was homeless at the time and didn't keep the card for long, so I can't remember the address I used for it. When I reached out to Green Dot for assistance, they weren't very helpful. I provided my name and social security number, and they confirmed the SSN but said the name didn't match. I'm confused because the IRS letter had my name and the last four digits of my SSN. Hello, my name is Wilorver Bankhead III. I have a prepaid debit card with Go2Bank. I have not received any of the four cards they have sent me, and I have been unsuccessful in getting cash from Walmart using the barcodes provided. Each time I try, it says the transaction cannot be validated, and Walmart advises me to contact Green Dot. I am reaching out for assistance in resolving this issue so I can receive a new barcode and access the funds at Walmart. I am facing eviction because I am behind on my rent, which I believe is due to errors made by Go2Bank representatives. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I recently had my tax refund deposited to my "VUSA Turbo Card" by "Intuit." My husband and I have been Green Dot account holders for nearly 20 years. Today, I received my tax refund on my card as expected and made purchases at a gas station with no issues. I also sent funds to my husband through the Visa Turbo Card app with success. However, when I checked my balance online out of curiosity, my account showed as blocked due to suspected fraud. The same happened with my husband's account. Despite calling numerous times and waiting on hold for almost 4 hours, I couldn't get a resolution. The online chat said a case needed to be opened, and it would take at least 3 business days after I submit my verification documents. This delay is unacceptable as I have done nothing wrong and urgently need access to my funds to pay overdue bills for our large family. I recently purchased a new temporary card this morning which starts with [redacted] and ends with [redacted], expiring on 05/25. The CCV is [redacted]. I tried to activate it online and through the app, but encountered errors stating the card can't be activated at the moment. I have been experiencing fraudulent activity on my account involving greendot. The alleged fraudulent department called me and greendot proceeded to close my account without reissuing my monthly benefits of $[redacted], which were due on December 28, [redacted]. Despite my request, they did not provide me with a new card. Whenever I reached out to greendot for assistance, my calls seemed to get disconnected, possibly due to interference from unauthorized individuals. I have reported this issue multiple times to greendot, SSA, and OIG. They have stated that greendot is responsible for investigating the unauthorized transactions since the money was taken from their bank. I kindly request a thorough investigation into this matter and the reissuance of my monthly benefits in the form of a check. Thank you for your attention to this issue. - A.B.

My social security disability check is normally deposited into my Green Dot account every month. Unfortunately, my card was stolen recently, and despite requesting a replacement twice, I have yet to receive it. I even updated my address for this month's deposit but found my account locked when attempting to transfer the funds to a friend. The customer service team said they would expedite the matter and send a new card once my identity was verified. However, they are now requesting the front and back of my driver's license multiple times, claiming they have not received it. This back and forth has left me without access to my much-needed funds, especially in these cold conditions while living without a home. I have been struggling to communicate with English-speaking representatives and feel stuck in a frustrating situation where I cannot reach a resolution.

My dog damaged my Walmart Visa Money card. The Social Security funds were deposited to card #4[redacted]-1[redacted] linked to account #[redacted]10. After discussing the issue with Social Security, they recommended requesting a new card. To expedite the process, I am willing to authorize a $25 fee from my benefits to cover the urgent delivery. I bought a Green Dot debit card at a 7-Eleven store to access fast digital funds. The card came with a preloaded amount of $[redacted] and I paid an additional cost to purchase the card, approximately $3. When attempting to activate through the Green Dot app, the card number was deemed invalid. Upon calling customer service and entering the card number, it was still not recognized. I feel I have lost around $[redacted] for nearly a week now. The purchase of the card was made on Monday, March 6th, around 2:30 pm. I am hopeful for a resolution to retrieve my funds soon.

I recently obtained a Green Dot prepaid card that can only be used for in-person shopping, with no option for withdrawals, money transfers, or online purchases. I was informed that a permanent card would be sent to me, but I have not received it yet, even though it has been 28 days since the purchase. I am currently waiting for a deposit to be returned to the card I used to book a motel room, which is the temporary Green Dot prepaid card from Rite Aid. I am unsure if this temporary card is capable of accepting deposits.

Green Dot has refused to assist me with their recent decision to close my account, claiming fraud when there was none. I believe I should have been given the opportunity to dispute this closure. Now, my account remains closed, and I urgently need it reopened to receive my tax refund. Despite my efforts to explain my situation, they insist that I purchase a new card from a store to open a new account, and my tax refund won't be transferred. I am frustrated and disappointed with Green Dot's handling of this issue. I have contacted the IRS, who advised that Green Dot will return the funds to them, and I will receive a paper check by mail. I recently purchased a Green Dot credit card at Kum & Go in Watford City. However, I have been unable to activate it despite numerous attempts and failed phone calls.
