I have a Dell model ****, delivered last week. The first attempt using 'replace my PC' failed but a second try seemed to be OK, however next day when I switched on the system was in a loop and I rang for technical support. I spoke to a lady with an accent that I had great difficulty in understanding, so eventually arranged to speak to her when my partner arrived, so that she could listen in. She did not ring back and there has been no further contact. Later the same day I received a call from an American who, I think, was based in the Phillipines. This had no result so I followed the instruction to reset Windows, but in the process, most of my programs were lost. Despite assurances, no one has called back so I am stuck with what at the moment is junk. Can I please get advice from a British engineer. D Hinton
GetHuman5512731 did not yet indicate what Dell - Tech Support should do to make this right.
I am a new customer, appreciative of the Dell supplied software, but would have benefited from talking to an experienced computer engineer. I finally went to the local computer shop and had the PC fixed at my expense.
