This is what I wrote on my neighborhood Facebook page. Within five minutes, I received upwards of ** responses echoing this sentiment about your store on Johnson Avenue in the Bronx: I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the same ineptitude at CVS on Johnson Ave as I have. My mother paid to have her blood pressure medication sent to her apartment a few weeks ago. They sent eyedrops instead- and then insisted that that's what she asked for. Actually my brother called in the prescription. SHE DOESN'T USE EYEDROPS!!! So, now it's time for the refill. She has no blood pressure medication left. (We had were able to get an emergency refill from another drug store.) She was expecting the refill today. It never arrived. I called the assistant manager who was utterly irresponsible and clearly couldn't care less about his customers, let alone an elderly customer. He asked me where I lived. I asked him why he needed to know that- he said well, YOU could pick the prescription up. MY BROTHER PAID TO HAVE THE PRESCRIPTION DELIVERED! Not to mention that I live in North Riverdale and I don't have a car. And just to add insult to injury, he said he has no idea where the medication is once it leaves the store. "So, it left the store?" I asked. He said he didn't know. UGH!!!!! When I asked him to check- he said he would, but he never came back. Later I called the pharmacy with the RX number. Apparently they never filled the prescription. I'd like to contact the corporate office. Does anyone have any suggestions. A phone number? Has anyone complained?**There wasn't a single person who had anything supportive about this particular store. One person pointed out that what happened to my mother reeks of malpractice.
