Get my points back ... I had free cancellation for a hotel which I did cancel and obviously got my money back. But what I think is not okay is that you also keep my points.. why aren’t these also returned because they weren’t actually used since I cancelled. Now you want to pay an extra $*** dollars for points I had to spend thousands of dollars. I would like my points back as well and not have to pay them. Or I do not need American Express and can solely use my chase card that offers better customer service. **- Jaima McReynolds
That it’s not clear that you will lose your points if you cancel. I was have thought long and hard about booking through this method as it takes a long time to get rack up **k points
